Super Eagles midfielder Wins Turkish League Title With Istanbul Basaksehir

first_img Loading… Super Eagles midfielder, Okechukwu Azubuike, has won his first league title in Europe after Istanbul Basaksehir defeated Kayserispor 1-0 on Sunday to emerge champions of Turkey. Azubuike and Basaksehir teammates hit form at the right time and saw off a strong challenge from Trabzonspor to be crowned Champions. Although Azubuike was not listed for the encounter, he was in the stadium to celebrate with his teammates after the final whistle.
